Next week, I'll be heading to our second reception in Singapore, where most of Mr. Hamster's family still resides. I've got my outfit planned out, but MIL Hamster is taking care of the reception details. It will be interesting to attend a reception in our honor that I had no part in planning. Although I admit, after planning our New York shindig, it's a bit of a relief! Here's what I do know:
Our Singapore reception will be at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore, a brandy-new hotel pictured here:
The hotel opened this past June, so the best picture I have is the above mock-up! Pretty neat, huh? But wait till you get a load of this:
Anyone interested in taking a dip in the infinity pool, located 55 storeys up?
So I admit, the details I can provide here are a little scarce, other than the fact that the hotel looks pretty neat (and it's of the same company that managers The Venetian and The Palazzo in Vegas!). I'll have more to share when I return in a few weeks! Until then, it will be a surprise for us all :)
I am so jealous. My professor just got back from there. He took a photo in front of the hotel with the ship on top of it. He said it was so cool at the top.
